Our newest addition to the farm are our adorable spotted Kune Kune pigs. They are the smallest of breeds raised for meat and are known for their friendly personalities, big bellies, and their ability to subsist mostly on pasture for their diet. We supplement their foraged diet with a local organic grain mixture as well as spent grains from a local brewery. Our pigs love to help us till up new garden space and also enjoy some of our excess produce throughout the season. Nothing goes to waste when you have pigs around! We currently have three permanent resident sows. We breed in late fall for spring piglets and winter butchering.
